Faerie Garden Terrarium

Ingredients:
1 large jar
polymer clay for making mushroom houses
soil
sand
small plants
1 giggly little girl

First we found a very large jar. This one originally held birdseed so I didn’t have to go buy it.

Then we made the houses and Liv’s orange rock out of polymer clay.

Fill the bottom of the jar with sand or gravel for drainage, followed by a layer of soil.

Arrange your houses and then put in the plants. Add any baubles or decor that a faerie might gather.

The result…. one satisfied munchkin and one faerie garden!

Sooo adorable! I’ve been wanting to get into making little terrariums, but life is too busy right now. Maybe this summer. I’ll be referring to your little tutorial for sure. :)

p.s.-There might be a road trip for us at the end of May. I’m talking to some Austin peeps. We’re working out the details. Something maybe in the fall, too. We shall see! I’m keeping it hush-hush until I know for sure.
