So you thought that all the Halloween candy and those plastic goblins that scream just as your three year shouts “trick or treat” came from the store? Oh no my friends, these fine ladies are in the business of conjuring up a darn spooky atmosphere!
“Fillet of a marsh snake, In the cauldron boil and bake:
Eye of newt and toes of frog, Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder’s fork and blind worm’s sting, Lizard’s leg and owlet’s wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble, Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.”
“Double, double, toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble!”
Their gorgeous, in a very scary, witchy, halloweeny way, but gorgeous all the same!
Goodness, goodness!!! I can’t very well say much about this, except that it’s AWESOME! All the purple fluorescent lights, the ‘charming’ faces, crooked teeth and a floating eyeball! LOVE IT, ROberta! (^O^)
PS: I like the suspicious looking witch with the orange polka dot collar…she looks like my plumber!! Hahahaha….

mmmmmm! Making me hungry! :o) Great one Roberta! No one can whip up a witch like you can… and five witches? Never! Love it!! Oh and I loved the illos in the July/August SCBWI mag. Especially the kid with the skull shirt and the spider lunchbox!
Fabulously creepy atmosphere, Roberta! Love the colors & detail!
Wonderful details– almost looks as if it’s glowing. Brilliant color choices.
