Goddess
The theme over at Monday Artday is “Goddess” this week. After mulling over all the usual ideas that come to mind for this subject, I began to think of two people that met when they were fifteen and sixteen. They made a life together, bought houses and made five children together. Fought a lot and loved a lot.
These two people won’t be spending Thanksgiving together. He’s far too ill to be taken care of at home. Diabetes, Parkinson’s disease and a few other ailments have taken his leg and taken him away from her. She wouldn’t be able to take care of him like she used to anyway. She forgets.
They miss each other.
They are my parents.

B, You have a nice Thanksgiving. I do feel your compassion for these two people and yes, they will miss each other. But, as long as they hold the thought of one another in their hearts; they will never be without one another. Sometimes life is cruel and full of pain in our later days. I am sure they both will be thinking of each other with a tear in their heart. Hold on to what you have my dear and count you many blessing as I will be doing this Thanksgiving too. I will keep all of you and them in my heart. Thanks for sharing, pfb
