Illustration Friday ~ Time

“Can you to watch the girls this evening,” she asked. “I really have to finish this work by tomorrow. The deadline has been moved to Friday.”

“Sure, I have some reading I’d like to catch up on,” he replied.

Smiling, “Thanks Honey!”

I’m thinking about this one for my next mail out…
in the meantime…. spend some time with the ones you love.

There’s quite a flaw in a plant that eats people!!

“They may offer you fortune and fame
Love and money and instant acclaim
But whatever they offer you…Don’t feed the plants!”

My set design for Theatre on the Bay. Yep… I have a theatre background…. something you may not know about me…..

There’s a new kid in class today and I can hardly wait
His desk is right in front of mine and he’s coming on this date.
I hope he isn’t scary. I hope he’s really cool
I hope he’s good at soccer and we can walk home after school.
But… what if he’s smelly and brings blue cheese in his lunch
His juice box might be dragon’s blood while mine is just fruit punch.
I’ll bet he has a hairless cat that he’s brought back from the dead.
He has spider webs for curtains and a coffin for a bed.
He’s scary, I just know it and the time is drawing near
When at once I hear my teacher say
Class… meet Robert Ignathias Pierce
Uh……Hi Robbie

You better watch out… You don’t and you’ll cry
You better not doubt… I’m telling you why…
Santa Flaws is coming to town!

He smells like a fungus. He’s covered with lice.
He spits when he talks… and he’s not very nice.
Santa Flaws is coming to town!

He sneaks in while you’re sleeping
And eats up all the cake
He drinks the beer and kicks the dog
So beware for goodness sake!

You better watch out… You don’t and you’ll cry,
You better not doubt… I’m telling you why… Santa Flaws is coming to town!

The side of the family that no one wants to talks about!

What’s in a name sighed Magnificent Max…
As he gathered his props and started to pack.

The bunnies revolted, the birds flew away
Not a whole lot of magic had happened that day.

But descending the ladder as he caught the last bird
“He must be a wizard!” magic Max overheard.

His dreams of illusion had not slipped away
To the kids he was magic, that magnificent day!

Your opinion of others can either boost or bust.
I choose boost!

This will also be used as my next promotional postcard.

The smell of the burner and the tinkling of glass
Just another day in my chemistry class

But our regular teacher was not in her chair
A web footed green thing was now sitting there

I’m the substitute teacher he said with a grin
Now pick up your test tubes, it’s time to begin

Take the yellow elixir and mix with the blue
And now you’ve created amphibian goo!

He called us all tadpoles and taught us to croak
He ate flies at lunch time and told froggy jokes

And when class was over, at the end of the day
He packed up his brief case and leap frogged away!
